Terms of Use for Professionals
Last updated: October 1, 2026
These terms govern your use of ModelGo as a professional — a photographer, brand, agency, production company or anyone else looking for talent — and form a binding agreement between you and ModelGo Technology Co. (LLC). Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.
We are committed to keeping the Platform professional and safe for everyone, so these terms include clear obligations toward talent that apply to every casting and booking.
Draft template — to be reviewed by a licensed lawyer in Saudi Arabia before publishing. All details are demo data.
A. Definitions
In these terms, the following words have the meanings set out below:
“Platform”: the ModelGo website, apps and services, operated by ModelGo Technology Co. (LLC) (‘ModelGo’, ‘we’ or ‘us’).
“Professional or ‘you’”: any individual or business that uses the Platform to post castings or find and book talent — such as photographers, brands, agencies, production companies and casting directors — including anyone acting on its behalf.
“Talent”: anyone with a profile on the Platform as a model, actor, content creator or other talent, including a minor's guardian.
“Casting”: a listing you publish on the Platform to select talent for a specific job or project.
“Booking agreement”: the booking details shown on the Platform and accepted by both parties, including the scope, schedule, location, fee and usage rights.
“Service fee”: the fee ModelGo charges for the booking and payment service, shown before you confirm a booking.
“Boost”: a paid service that shows a casting in more prominent positions for a set period.
“Managed campaign”: a service where the ModelGo team coordinates talent selection or runs a campaign for you under a separate quote.
B. Acceptance, eligibility and business verification
By creating an account or using the Platform you agree to these terms, and your electronic acceptance is a valid and binding expression of consent under the Electronic Transactions Law.
You must be at least 18 and legally able to contract. If you act for a business, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it to these terms.
Give accurate information about your business. We may ask for proof as applicable, such as your website, official social media accounts, commercial registration, freelance permit or national address.
The ‘Verified business’ badge is given once verification is complete. We may require it for some features, such as paid castings, castings involving minors or unlimited messaging.
Agencies representing talent must hold any licences their activity requires and have written authorisation from every talent they represent.
We may refuse or withdraw registration or verification if the requirements are not met or the information turns out to be false.
We may change these terms from time to time and will notify you of significant changes at least 15 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Platform after that means you accept them.
C. Posting castings
Every casting must relate to a real, lawful project and give accurate details of the work, dates, location, requirements and expected usage rights.
Paid castings must state the fee or fee range in Saudi riyals and whether it includes VAT. Unpaid or collaboration-based castings must be clearly labelled as such.
You must never ask talent for any upfront payment — such as a registration fee, a deposit, or the cost of a photo shoot or course — as a condition of applying, being selected or taking part.
The work must comply with Saudi laws and public morals. You may not ask for nudity, immodest clothing or any inappropriate work.
Selection criteria must not be discriminatory, except where genuinely required by the role, such as gender, age range or look.
Castings involving minors
No casting involving talent under 18 is published until our team has reviewed it manually, and we may ask for more information about the project.
All contact and bookings go through the guardian only and require their consent, and the guardian must be present throughout the job.
Working hours and the nature of the work must suit the minor's age and comply with the rules on young people's work and child protection.
We may edit, reject or remove any casting that breaches these terms, without this being a breach of any obligation to you.
D. Finding and contacting talent
Use search and messaging only for legitimate professional purposes related to casting and booking.
Do not scrape talent data, send unsolicited bulk messages, or use the Platform to promote services unrelated to the work on offer.
Do not ask talent to communicate or be paid outside the Platform before a booking is confirmed.
Respect a talent's decision if they decline an offer or do not reply, and do not keep contacting them in a way that amounts to harassment.
Messaging and profile-viewing limits may depend on your plan, and contact about minors is with their guardian only.
You may not pay talent outside the Platform for work that came through it within 12 months of your first contact on the Platform. If you do, we may charge the service fee that would have applied and restrict or suspend your account.
E. Online bookings and service fees
To book talent, send them a booking offer that sets out the scope, dates, location, fee, usage rights and any other conditions. The booking is made only when the talent accepts it; it then becomes a binding booking agreement between you.
You pay the full booking amount through the Platform when you confirm, plus the service fee and any applicable VAT at 15%, all shown clearly before you confirm.
We issue an electronic tax invoice for the service fee in line with ZATCA requirements; any other invoices are issued as the law requires.
The money is held by a licensed payment provider and released to the talent once you confirm the job is complete, or automatically 72 hours after its scheduled end unless you open a dispute with reasons.
Cancellations and disputes
You can cancel and receive a full refund, including the service fee, at least 48 hours before the job. If you cancel within 48 hours of the job, the talent receives 50% of the fee as compensation, unless the booking agreement provides for more.
If the talent does not turn up or cancels late, you receive a full refund and we will help you find a replacement where possible.
Disputes must be opened within 72 hours of the job's scheduled end, with supporting evidence. We review them impartially and decide what happens to the held amount, without affecting either party's right to go to the competent authorities.
F. Premium plans, Boost and managed campaigns
Premium plans for professionals
Plans give you extra features such as more castings, more messages and advanced search tools, but do not guarantee any number of applicants or bookings.
Prices are in Saudi riyals; before you pay we show clearly whether 15% VAT is included or added, and an electronic tax invoice is issued for every payment.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal, and stay active until the end of the paid period. Refund rights under the E-Commerce Law and consumer protection rules apply where you qualify as a consumer.
Boost and managed campaigns
Boost shows a casting in more prominent positions for a set period and labels it as ‘Featured’. Boosted castings must meet the same standards and are not guaranteed any number of applicants.
Boost fees are not refundable once the period starts, unless the casting is removed or the Boost fails because of an error on our side.
In a managed campaign, our team helps you prepare castings, shortlist talent and coordinate schedules and bookings under a written quote or statement of work setting out the services, fees and timeline. The quote governs that campaign, and these terms apply to anything it does not cover.
G. Your obligations toward talent
In every casting and booking, you must:
provide a safe, professional and respectful working environment at a recognised location suited to the work;
keep to the agreed schedule and working hours, allow reasonable breaks and provide a private, separate changing area where needed;
treat talent with respect, never harass, abuse or pressure them to do anything that was not agreed, and respect their right to bring a companion;
not change the scope or requirements on set without the talent's agreement, and adjust the fee if extra work is agreed;
pay the agreed fee in full through the Platform and confirm completion promptly;
use the material produced only within the usage rights in the booking agreement, and never use a talent's image or voice to create a digital twin or AI-generated content without their separate, explicit written consent;
obtain any permits the shoot or project requires, such as permits for filming in public places where applicable.
H. Protecting talent data
When you receive talent data through the Platform — such as profiles, applications and contact details after a booking — you become responsible for processing it for your own purposes under the Personal Data Protection Law, and you must:
use the data only for the purpose it was shared for — the relevant casting or booking;
not disclose it to anyone else except as needed to deliver the project, such as the end client, who must keep it confidential;
not send talent marketing messages or add them to mailing lists without their consent;
protect the data with appropriate security measures and destroy it when no longer needed — at the latest 6 months after the casting or booking ends — unless the talent agrees to a longer period or the law requires otherwise;
tell us immediately about any breach or unauthorised use of data you obtained through the Platform, and cooperate with us in dealing with it;
handle minors' data and images with special care and only publish them as agreed by the guardian in the booking agreement.
I. Reviews
After each booking both sides can review the experience. Reviews must be honest, fair and based on the actual job.
Fake reviews, offering anything in return for a review, pressuring talent to change a review, and using reviews to retaliate or defame are all prohibited.
You may reply to a review professionally, and we may remove reviews that breach these terms.
J. Intellectual property
You keep your rights in content you post, such as your logo and casting materials, and give ModelGo a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it on the Platform as needed to provide the service.
We will not use your name or logo in our marketing as one of our clients without your consent.
Usage rights for material produced in a booking are set out in the booking agreement; outside that scope, the talent keeps the rights in their image. Any additional use requires a new agreement and, where appropriate, an additional fee.
If you are a photographer, you may only show a talent's photos in your portfolio or on your accounts as allowed by the booking agreement or with the talent's permission.
All rights in the Platform, its brand, design and software belong to ModelGo or its licensors.
K. Liability and indemnity
ModelGo is an intermediary platform. We are not a party to the booking agreement, nor an employer or agent of the talent, and we do not guarantee the availability of particular talent or the results of your project.
You are responsible for the castings you post, for organising the job and the safety of its location, and for complying with applicable laws, including labour, permit and data protection rules.
You will compensate ModelGo for any claims, losses or reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms or the law, or from your dealings with talent.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you will not exceed the service and subscription fees you paid ModelGo in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence or anything that cannot be limited or excluded by law, or our obligation to return any amounts due back to you.
L. Suspension and termination
You can close your account at any time, but you must still meet your existing obligations to talent, such as confirmed bookings and amounts due.
We may restrict, suspend or close your account and remove your castings if you breach these terms — in particular by asking talent for upfront payments, mistreating them or misusing their data — if you give false information, or if a competent authority asks us to.
We will tell you about the action and the reason unless doing so would harm an investigation or someone's safety. You may appeal within 14 days by writing to support@modelgo.sa.
If your account is closed because of a breach, subscription and Boost fees for the remaining period are not refunded unless the law requires otherwise, and your payment, data protection and usage rights obligations continue to apply.
M. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including the E-Commerce Law, the Electronic Transactions Law and the Personal Data Protection Law.
We aim to settle disagreements amicably. Please contact support@modelgo.sa first, and we will work to reach a solution within 30 days.
If it cannot be settled amicably, the competent courts in Riyadh will have jurisdiction, without affecting any right to complain to the Ministry of Commerce or another competent authority where applicable.
The Platform's electronic records may be relied on as evidence under the Electronic Transactions Law. If there is any conflict between the Arabic text of these terms and a translation, the Arabic text prevails.
